Salman Khan begins the Mumbai leg of the Sikandar shoot, performs a train action sequence
Salman Khan has resumed the shooting of the film in Mumbai and performed a train stunt. The train sequence was shot with 30 people at a Borivalli studio which was made to look like a railway station. The production team is shooting with fewer people for the security of the superstar for which the preparations are done prior by the director.
As per Mid-Day sources, “The scale of this scene is massive. It involves raw, gritty action as Salman’s character is seen taking on a gang of baddies. The director’s brief to the action choreographer was to make it bloody and vengeful. Salman shot the set-piece on Wednesday evening with only a crowd of 30. On Tuesday, Murugadoss separately filmed the crowd-heavy sequences with approximately 350 people.”
The shoot of the film will be shot in several locations of Mumbai by the end of January. The source further added, “The shoot will continue till January-end at different locations in the city.”
Amid death threats, Salman has been shooting for the film under tight security. It is set to hit the theatres in Eid next year. The film is directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
Meanwhile, Salman is also gearing up for Da-bangg The Tour Reloaded in Dubai from December 7.
